Tao Bible - Exodus 20:14

Thou shalt not commit adultery.
~ King James version ~

One should be virtuous in all one's relationships.
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
This is the seventh biblical commandment. God tells us that we should not have sexual relations with a person we are not betrothed unto.

From a Taoist perspective, adultery itself is not a key issue. It is merely one symptom of a more widespread problem. We bring disharmony upon ourselves and the world when we act out of selfishness. If we treat all people the same through selfless thought and action, adultery has no opportunity to flourish.
