Godly as Water

How would you describe water to a being that has never experienced it? What would you say?

Hold on a second. Did I mention that this being doesn't understand your language?

Oh, I almost forgot. Did I neglect to mention that this being doesn't have the sense of sight, hearing, taste, smell or touch?

OK Einstein, have at it. Explain water to this being of a different sort.............................

(interlude)

I know. I've given you impossible parameters. How can you communicate a concept to a being that doesn't utilize concepts?

So, why do people spend their lives trying to define creation (or the creator)?

The Grand Mystery is beyond the capability of humans to understand. We don't possess enough knowledge even to get our foot in the door. Whatever we say or however we define it, we can't begin to comprehend as much as one pixel of the infinite.

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao.
