Really lofty standards, aren't they?
However, that is indeed the standard of being exceptional -- someone who rises above the morass.
It should be noted that, unlike many religions, Lao Tzu doesn't provide us with a rulebook for the precise scheme to become exceptional. He understood that external morals and mores often create the very thing they wish to counter.
