Tom Terrific was one of the cartoons shown on Captain Kangaroo. The graphics were really sparse, but anything that Captain K recommended, I thoroughly approved of. I liked this cartoon because the "star" was a kid; a rather odd kid at that and I too was an odd kid. Besides, any kid with "super powers" who had as his sidekick a dog was a-ok in my book!
