Wen Tzu - Verse 50

Verse Fifty
Fine are the rewards of the generous, profound the calamity of the bitter. Those who give little but expect much accumulate bitterness and cannot but have trouble. Observe how they go, and you know how they come.
~ Wen-tzu: Understanding the Mysteries ~
We live in the kind of world today where most people seem only concerned about the end product. If a company or individual becomes successful and wealthy, few people pay much mind as to how they got there. Getting to the top of the heap is all that matters.

But if you sell your soul to the devil, so to speak, the journey taken should tell us more about a person than the destination reached! In the end, HOW we each live our lives in the here and now is far more important than where we end up.
