Tao Bible - Matthew 3:1-2

In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
~ King James version ~

A journey of a thousand miles starts under one's feet.
~ from Verse 64 of the Tao Te Ching ~
So often, we spend our time fixated on the past or the future. The sole time frame for which we truly can experience fully is now. The past has come and gone; the future has yet to arrive. Where our feet are is what we should focus on...lest we trip over them!

  1. Ho again Ta Wan, and Ho Trey. I recognise that. I Do this whilest running, which is done without any effort or beliefe in pain. quite remarkable compared to previous runningstyle. went for a run the other day, Monday, ended up in running a marathon. no blisters. :-) strange it is. I recognice I am stepping on the universe. a question. you dontention the lost gospel of Tomas. It's fantastic. the passage where Tomas don't want to tell about a conversation he had with Jesus... well there is so much in there. And apart from Tomas gospel I thought yesterday about how to get a camel through the eye of a needle. Some stunning reflections. So obvious it is now. / Jo Kim
