The #1 Reason for System Change

Today, more than 7,000 children from all over the world will die for lack of nutritious food. It may not be immediately obvious that this is the cause; a secondary illness, rather than chronic hunger, will likely appear on their death certificates.

ANY SYSTEM that allows 7,000 children per day to die needlessly must be changed. This horrifying statistic represents the epitome of inhumanity.

I could write a great post in this space -- one that tugs on your heartstrings -- but I simply want you to focus on the thought of 7,000 children dying TODAY for want of nutritious food. Are you willing to look in the eye of any one of those 7,000 children as if to say, "Your life doesn't matter to me"?
