If a person displays anger, it is because he believes and lives in the occupation of a self.
A person that is free from self displays no anger.
A religious person lives with anger and justifies it through their belief.
A belief is postulated to remain in bondage of self.
True liberation of self is free of self and its fruit.

"A religious person lives with anger and justifies it through their belief." While certinly there are religious people that may describe, but I do not think it is true of all "religious." People who use their asserted religion to justify their anger --we can read about them in the news any day--are probably not very close to God or whatever...they are in bondage to THEIR selves, and to hell with yours. Not all religions are about "liberation from self" anyway. And I doubt that anyone is fully liberated from self until one is dead.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for not communicating clearly. I didn't mean for the word religious to encompass and stereotype all people of beliefs. I was using the word religious to emphasize a particular point. And surely there is some religious people that rarely express anger.
