I am often struck by the fact that many of the people who deny climate change/global warming are the very same people who believe in angels and a heavenly father. Climate change is a belief based on the scientific method; religious notions are beliefs based on the writings of ancient books of folklore.

Climate change can be proven through recorded observations and statistical analysis. There is no way at all to prove a religious belief. Yet, there are many people who accept these unproven ideas as incontrovertible fact, but scoff at ideas that are based on rigorous study.
