Here's An Idea

On the news this evening, it was revealed that one-half of the current members of the US House of Representatives are millionaires. An even greater percentage have annual incomes above $250,000. Consequently, it would seem that the chief reason that our representatives desire to keep the Bush tax cut for those making over $250,000 per year is that it would benefit each of them as individuals.

A lot of government entities have rules about conflict of interest. So, here's my idea: Any representative who earns more than $250,000/year should recuse themselves from the vote and only those earning less than this amount should decide the issue.

Seems fair to me.
