Can you forget the world?
Can you forget all others?
Can you cease to care at all?
Can you remain indifferent
to the moral cries that
would have you
grasp and judge?
Leave them to their doing.
Let them trod the moving stair.
When all is done
what wasn’t done
will have done
much more.
