Straightness of action means to stand upright unshakably, to remain pure and unstained, to keep self-control when in straits, and to refrain from self-indulgence when successful.

  1. If that comes naturally, no one would need self control. If it doesn't, is just fake, forced... not 'wu wei' at all.
