Besides the sadness I feel about your state of being from the result of your conclusion, I find it ironic that after you state, "If" there is liberation from our universal bondage", you then make this statement as if you are an authoritarian on the subject of the way to liberation "it comes not through the pursuit of purpose or meaning, the attainment of saintliness, or the exercise of virtue, but through the realization of the hollowness of all things and every human endeavor". How could you know and declare what the way to liberation is if you have not experienced it or even really know if it exist? That is like saying, if there is other life forms in outer space, this is THE WAY you do and don't communicate with them. Where is your authority being derived from to declare such a statement?

And how can you come to such absolutes in thinking that these other methods i.e., pursuits of purpose, meaning, attainment of saintliness, or exercise of virtue, cannot be used as a path to find liberation? How do you know that?

And what is very sad is that you have taken on this staunch position as a platform to perceive the world around you. Your cup is not empty.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01358048752840102026noreply@blogger.com
