Tao Bible - Proverbs 22:7

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
~ King James version ~

Each of us is a borrower, so who are we a servant to?
~ possible Taoist alternative ~
If you believe that each of us is but one manifestation of the ultimate reality, then we each borrow this life from the Grand Mystery. Every breath we take, every morsel we eat and every drop of water we drink is borrowed from life itself. So, if we are to serve anyone, shouldn't we serve all?
