Have you ever gone to a job counselor/placement center and explained to them your situation? I have worked at companies that hired special needs people and it turned out to be a blessing for all involved. The companies even received an ongoing tax credit to help. It seems to me that you are more than capable of working. You just need to find the right fit for you socially. A good job placement center and councilor should be able to help if you are really interested. You might have to submit to a regular hourly schedule but welcome to the rest of the world.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10694316.post-25224298128983959412014-02-05T10:32:30.339-08:002014-02-05T10:32:30.339-08:00Thanks Scott for sharing all your interesting arti...Thanks Scott for sharing all your interesting articles. If RT get closed down, hopefully you find another venue to express yourself through. Have you ever thought of starting your own website?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10694316.post-58099644556396123342014-02-05T07:49:59.893-08:002014-02-05T07:49:59.893-08:00Thanks for the opportunity to write for the blog, ...Thanks for the opportunity to write for the blog, Trey. I am socially challenged. I volunteer my time at the radio station because, for most of that time, I am not interacting with others.

As to the times I have had interactions, many of those haven't gone so well. I seem to be very unpopular with the station manager and the program manager for reasons I couldn't begin to explain because I don't have the foggiest clue.

Here's my problem when it comes to employment. There aren't a lot of solitary jobs out there that allow the potential employee to name their own hours and their own pace of work. Most forms of employment require social interactions and that seems to be my downfall time and again. The Rambling Taoisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04730292897416827840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10694316.post-22166546174808734772014-02-04T10:17:52.485-08:002014-02-04T10:17:52.485-08:00Stating the obvious; I find it very interesting th...Stating the obvious; I find it very interesting that you are collecting Social Security Disability because you are supposedly mentally challenged and unable to work but you are indeed able to work if it meets your likings. I once knew a person that was able to play the same games as you, using the system to mooch off of the government that he complained bitterly against. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
